When it comes to bodybuilding and fitness, there really isn’t a lot of truth to be found online. My email inbox is jammed daily with offers for an endless mass of “magic supplements”, “miracle programs” and “revolutionary breakthroughs”. And none of them are magic and none of them work. It starts with the best selling e-book, “The Truth About Building Muscle”. This is a well organized, 249-page e-book covering the muscle growth process from all angles. Training, nutrition, supplementation, recovery; he includes it all.

The main book is navigated by using buttons and interactive text, or you can print off the PDF version provided and place it in a 3-ring binder to read away from the computer. I guess I’ll never come completely into the computer age because I still can’t really get into a book on a machine. I have got to have a hard copy and you have one here.

Together with the main e-book, Sean provides a 26-Week Workout Plan and Printable Logbook, along with a Full Video Exercise Database to show you how to perform all of the exercises in the most effective and risk-free manner.

So what is my reservation about this program? Frankly it is small and I may be just being a little bit picky but in the “Truth” about anything, I want the whole truth and something I feel Sean glosses over a bit is the effort and pain the program takes. Yes, pain.

Now you know you are supposed to take precautions against injury in any fitness program. That is not what I am talking about. When you exercise to the point that your muscles fail - a critical part of The Muscle Gain Truth - it hurts! Maybe some of the less committed to success types would not buy the program if Sean mentioned this up front. This really does not decrease the effectiveness of this course though and I am still giving it a 5 Star Rating.
